California's Safety Law - SB-198

California passed a law (SB-198) in 1990 outlining new requirements and standards for safety program development and implementation. Although the law only applies to California businesses, it should be reviewed by employers in other states. It contains pertinent information on safety program development, documentation and enforcement efforts.
